The rooms are small of course but very tastefully decorated and smartly furnished. The common area is great. We grabbed a cappuccino from there every morning. The location is awesome, 10 minutes from Union Square and China town. I’ll definitely come back and stay again.

This hotel is in an incredible location, close to BART and the F line, which makes getting around the city very easy! The front door is locked at all times and the front desk staff is very friendly. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated my time at this hotel!

Pros: quiet room on the back side of hotel. Shower was great; a large "rain shower" type shower head with good water pressure. Front desk staff were all very friendly. Cons: it's on the edge of the tenderloin district, not a great neighborhood. Feels a little sketchy at night walking around. The room had a very faint odor, as if a prior occupant had a pet that peed on the carpet or something. Kept the window cracked open our entire stay for fresh air and to dissipate the odor.
