「I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The breakfast was delicious and the room was gorgeous! I had a large tub and shower and lots of room. It was close enough to walk to the main attractions of Antigua Guatemala. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend staying here.」

「Beautiful oasis in the city. The perfect place to spend a night before our early morning flight. The owner was so friendly and kind. She helped us get a taxi to the airport and even noticed we had a surfboard with us and arranged for us to get a bigger vehicle to make sure it fit. We highly recommend this place!」

「The Villa Marina Hotel is an older property with only nine rooms. Overall the property is nice and well maintained. With the price they can’t invest a great amount in the infrastructure and stay in business. The grass area would benefit from expansion, this would reduce mud; between mud and black sand the room and patio get a bit dirty. Also a stone or brick base near the outside shower would be good. 「Breakfast supposed to be included, the owners son cooked food all night long just to tell us that there was no breakfast and the food was for sale by the kilo. Lots of construction blocking the view shown in the pictures. Bathroom door it was a see trough. I went there with my family, and it was horrible to cover our heads every time someone needs to use the bathroom or take a shower. 0 privacy. Not coming back ever.」
