"This was a great stay! We enjoyed the view from our balcony, I mean, on one side Panama City and on the other side Amador and the Pacific. We even enjoyed watching raccoons play on the surf. The breakfast was ok. But Nextdoor was the great Ranchito Restaurant which served like the best sangria ever. I had a seafood soup which was very tasty. So I am definitely going back on my next stay."

A not to overwhelming (in terms of urban traffic, tension) big city with a beautiful seashore. Visiting the Miraflores Panama Canal Visitor's Center should be a must, but be sure to review when the ships will be passing through as it isn't 24/7.

Panama City is a great city with so much to offer. It's also a very calm city. If you ever visit Panama City, give yourself ideally a week (in our opinion). We were in Casco Viejo, but there are definitely other areas to check out as well.

Traffic is bad, be careful if walking. Bring cool clothes as the heat and humidity during the day can catch you off guard if not use too it. Visit the old town area as they are doing great things there cleaning it up renovating the old buildings.

Panama City is gorgeous. There are many lovely places to visit besides the Canal. We didn't have time to see everything we wanted. The traffic gets quite hectic sometimes too. Definitely would like to visit again.

"The hotel was spotless, and the staff were friendly. It's a bit expensive, as I was expecting more of a luxury hotel. The only bad thing was the breakfast one morning, when everything was cold and the cup of coffee wasn't hot. The toast was hard as a rock, so it was a total disappointment for the price. The hotel person did provide a discount upon checkout after I complained that no one in the kitchen would answer the phone."
