Unfortunately there was no ship going through while we were there. So 20$ sound a little expensive just to see the museum.

Walk up Ancon Hill before you go to Miraflores Locks. You can see the whole system from the top of the hill.

If you don't know how locks work, go. If you paid attention in history and physics class in high school, you'll learn little new. The exhibits are well done and informative.
