Perfect staff property location cleanliness zero noise great restaurants out the front door excellent

When the only complaint you can have about a place is that they are almost TOO attentive, then you are really staying at a true 5 star place. Everything here is first class and it is truly a very different experience from the typical Playa all inclusive places. First off, the grounds are beautiful. We stayed in a lagoon suite and to sit out on the deck and hear a myriad of birds singing and watch fish, turtles, (and crocs!) swim by was really a great experience. Almost feels like being...

We stayed at Secrets Maroma for 7 nights and to say we had a great time is an understatement! We did stay in the Perferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View, building 16, and the view of resort and ocean was great! From the moment we arrived and until we departed, the service is outstanding throughout the resort-from the wait staff, bar tenders, front desk, and especially our conceirge-Emmanuel! Emmanuel was excellent- and took care of all our needs when needed! The food at all restaurants was...

En general todo muy limpio y siempre atentos, con muy buena ubicación para disfrutar de las vacaciones.

Technically this wasn't a vacation, it was our honeymoon. I found this place on some Google list of top 10 most romantic honeymoon spots and it did not dissapoint. The grounds are beautiful. The staffs mission in life is to make sure you are happy and have everything you need. And it's not just for tips either, it's genuine. Whether you want to do nothing or everything, you will be pleased. We just got back and are already planning a return trip. The rooms are VERY private, no noise from other...

Stayed at the Zen resort. Great welcoming environment. Relaxing. pampered. Spa too expensive for what they offer, though. Excellent restaurants, although food somewhat scant in some of them (Piaff and, De Autor). Quality of drinks intermediate. Beaches resorts with excellent infinity pool and wet bar. Azul and Lucca best places to eat. Watch out at Piaf restaurant with sommelier trying to have you choose from an expensive list of wines not included in the "all inclusive". "All...

Spent a couple of nights at this hotel. It was very nice, super clean and new, great amenities, loved the decor, had a nice ocean view on the fifth floor. Location was great, walking distance to fifth avenue and restaurants and shops. Ate breakfast at the hotel, their chilaquiles were excellent! I would not hesitate to stay here again for a convenient short stay and would definitely recommend to others. The front desk staff and restaurant staff were all great!

Always A beautiful convenient place to stay and Playa del Carmen

This property is fantastic if your desire is to go to a laid back property and have a relaxing but fun time. It is not packed with party hungry 18 year olds. We noticed the guests were mostly couples and friend trips made up of ladies or couples. While they say tips are not expected, they really are. For the price of flights and the say along with the amazing food options on property, throw your server or housekeeping staff a few USD. Be careful when it comes to converting dollars to pesos - pay...

We were looking for a small non-resort hotel on the beach where we could relax peacefully, and Petit Lafitte is exactly that. As soon as we arrived at Lafitte we were welcomed home by the desk staff and concierge. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and made us feel comfortable, and were more than willing to help make our stay a very pleasant one. The beach is about 20 steps from the outdoor bar, with a number of chairs and thatch umbrellas for use by guests, and the pool was a comfortable...

Hotel Lunata is a gem situated on Playa del Carmen's charming 5th Avenue, and one block from Playa's main beach. Even though our room overlooked 5th Avenue, the triple-insulated balcony doors assured peace and quiet. The hotel is reminiscent of a hacienda, and has a lovely private - and very quiet - garden. The complimentary continental breakfast was tasty, with fresh fruit and Mexican pastries along with cereals, coffee, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Perhaps the best attribute of the...

Unassuming from the outside, what awaits inside is more of the same, but with a minimal, spa-like feel. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms and common areas are clean and inviting. The location can feel a bit suspect at night , though not threatening, but this gives way to a pleasant and almost park-esque mood during the day. A great value I doubt can be beat in PDC.

Everything was great while staying here! Super friendly staff and hotel is so peaceful. You can walk to Xcaret parks as well! Must stay!!!!!

This hotel is beautiful! Beds are comfortable and the rooms, views, and roof top pool are extraordinary. I loved the feel of the property and it provides a very personalized experience. I traveled alone from Seattle and even though I was alone (my bf broke up with me three days before this trip we were supposed to be on together), but I had the whole team at Mvngata (pronounced moon-gata) to help me heal from a devastating breakup. They loved on me and made me feel safe and full of joy. This...

Great location! Staff was amazing Great food and lots of fun

Beautiful property! Great food! Excellent service!

This is a great, little resort. The beach is, in my opinion, is one of the best in the area. It is white and powdery. The staff rakes it each morning so there are no rocks or debris. There could be more beach chairs, but the staff work very hard to assure that you get a chair. My room was perfectly located within walking distance to the beach. I had a room directly above Rick’s bar and the adjoining pool, but never felt it was too loud. The staff are all very hard working and welcoming. The...

The staff was very friendly and helpful

I like the location.

This place is Heaven on Earth! Our original trip was supposed to be for 5 days and we had to extend 4 more day (awww poor us LOL) due to bad weather at DFW (worst ice/snow storm to hit DFW in 72 years). We had room 818 beautiful! We had a private pool and our own Butler David just moments from the beach bar and beach. When we had to extend we got room 909 right on the beach! No pool but did I mention right on the beach! Our service was spectacular, everybody was so friendly and helpful and...
