"This property was beautiful on the outside with a great pool scene. It is also conveniently located just steps away from Playa Mamita Beach and 5th Avenue. HOWEVER, internally, the room was quite run down and dirty. Many electrical outlets didn't work. The entire hotel's water was shut of during the middle of the night secondary to reportedly repeated water pump failures explained to me by the manager of the property. There was no blackout curtain to the large sliding door to the balcony. There...

"Pools were great. The range of food was plentiful. Would have appreciated more than two beers in the room and access to liquor without having to pay a surcharge even though it was an all inclusive. Ice machine was broken in two buildings and when advised nothing was done. This resort is great for families"

"We had a wonderful stay. The property was beautiful, well maintained, and had a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Our room was comfortable, and a great size. It felt cozy while still offering plenty of space to unwind after a day of exploring. The staff was outstanding throughout our stay. A special thank you to Hanssen Beristain, who went above and beyond to ensure every need was met. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care for guests truly elevated our experience and made us feel valued from start to finish. The food at the restaurants was top notch and highly recommended. Every meal we had was excellent, especially at the reservation required restaurants. The French restaurant in the Royal Level was absolutely phenomenal. Easily a 5 star dining experience from the service to the presentation and quality of the food. That menu alone was unforgettable. One of the biggest highlights was the location and nearby activities. Having Xcaret next door was incredible and provided endless opportunities for adventure, nature, and entertainment. If there were a few areas for improvement, the snack bar buffet needs significant upgrades to match the quality of the other dining venues. Additionally, the resort could benefit from more bartenders, larger bar areas, or additional bar locations throughout the property. During peak times, the bars became crowded, which sometimes resulted in longer wait times for drinks. Improving that would improve over all scores"

"Great staff and service! The rooms were always cool/cold which was great in the Cancun heat. When my husband and I first arrived, we were disappointed by the food and drink options. It wasn’t the worst, but certainly wasn’t the best. We chose to upgrade to privilege on site and enjoyed our stay a bit more after that. Because we were there in late May, we dealt with the excess seaweed on the beach. Since the beach wasn’t a make or break for us, it didn’t matter. Overall it was a great time and I’m glad we went!!"

"Definitely recommend this place to everyone. We came here with a 5 and a 3-year olds. Everyone had so much fun. There is no shortage of entertainment for kids. From night shows to piñata parties, balloons, dance, art work, pool foam parties.. there is a day care to drop kids off too. Pools are very clean. The restaurants are all amazing. We definitely over-ate as the food was so delicious. The staff are all very kind and helpful. They deep clean the room every day. I have never seen it in other hotels I stayed at but they even mopped the room floors every day. There is yoga… a very decent sized gym.. the only downside for us was the seaweed in the ocean which is not hotels fault. There were a lot of workers cleaning the shore everyday.. still it was not that aqua blue color ocean because of the seaweed. We were here in May- we heard that the seaweed is seasonal so if you are keen to swim in clear waters may be come here at non-seaweed season."
