Though the cleanliness of the apartment left a lot to be desired. "We had a fantastic stay at Riu Palace Riviera Maya! The food was genuinely better than average for an all-inclusive — lots of variety across the restaurants, everything was fresh and well-prepared, and we never felt like we were settling for "resort food." The property itself was immaculate; the grounds and rooms were clean and well-maintained throughout our entire stay. The staff went above and beyond at every turn — friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed, which made the whole trip feel effortless. We also upgraded to the Elite Club, and it was absolutely worth it — the added perks and service level elevated the whole experience. Overall a beautiful resort with great food, a clean and well-run property, and staff that made us feel taken care of the entire time. Highly recommend for anyone considering the Riviera Maya!"

"We had diner in the seafood restaurant and it was really good. The service and food worked very well. We had tuna with watermelon just Amazing as well as the octupus. At the main restaurant we had a super delicious mojarra and overall the food was good, service very good. The only sad thing is … the time went flying so fast but we only have good things to say. A very nice jungle environment with different kids of animals. It was really good. We think that bathrooms need to be updated, beds super comfortable y the sheets as well very comfy. The cleaning lady was super nice Make sure you try the tamales and chilaquiles."

"My wife and I recently stayed at Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun for our honeymoon, and I can honestly say that the experience exceeded our expectations. From the beautiful resort and incredible beach to the food, spa, activities, and—most importantly—the people, this was a truly memorable experience. What really set this stay apart was the attention to detail and personalized service. We never felt like just another set of guests. The staff remembered our preferences, anticipated our needs, and consistently made us feel welcomed and appreciated. I want to give a special recognition to Roberto, our room concierge, who was absolutely wonderful. His attentiveness and professionalism made our stay even more comfortable, and he was always there to make sure everything was taken care of. Franco, our pool concierge, also deserves recognition. He was attentive, friendly, and made our time by the pool even more enjoyable. His service was exactly the kind of personalized hospitality that makes a vacation feel special. At Oceana, Giovany provided exceptional service. He was professional, personable, engaging, and incredibly attentive to detail. It was obvious that he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that positive energy came through in the way he treated us. The picaña and coconut shrimp were also fantastic! The pool at Secrets Maroma was absolutely incredible and quickly became one of our favorite parts of the entire stay."
