The location was great! Stores and restaurants right outside your door in the covered outdoor mall area and walkable to major stores and the Gion area. The hotel itself was adequate but pretty basic. The Royal Park Canvas Kyoto Nijo
Hotel is in a excellent area, you can move easly with the train station right in front of the hotel. Hotel is clean, has everything you need, shower was really spacious better than other hotels, feels new. Overall on my trip to japan this was the best hotel i stay in. Will definitely book here again ...
