"I rarely write reviews- get a room in building 4 top floor- view of mountains and ocean with vaulted ceilings- all other floors balconies are smaller and if course no vaulted ceilings- free use of business center including printing… if you want sun - get top floor of building 6! Great place!! "

"The Kauai Inn is a hidden gem on the Garden Island. Located about 10 minutes from airport away from town, it sits at base of a mountain range in tropical splendor. Sitting by the pool/patio for breakfast or under tiki torches in the evening listening to Hawaiian music was relaxing and refreshing for the soul. Welcomed with a lei greeting, the staff remained available to make suggestions or help you plan your day. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast with packaged food and lots of fresh fruit provided daily. Coffee available on patio all day. Rooms had microwaves and mini frig. Bonus guest laundry available if needed.From this location, we enjoyed our 3 favorite activities of our Hawaii vacation - doors of helicopter tour of Napali coast, mountain tubing and sunset dinner cruise of Napali coast. The only downside was that bridge is currently out so you have to drive longer way around to get there (about 15 minutes rather than 5) from Lihue and there are no walkable restaurants."

"Lava Lava is on site for all meals and is great.property is Quiet by ten every night except for the surf which is just a few steps past the restaurant. Small but very nice rooms with everything that’s needed. Parking is in short supply but they do have valet. Best staff I’ve ever encountered. So kind and helpful! "
