「My friend and I just wanted to get away for the night! So we only stayed one night but we hung out on the hot tub made friends and had a blast! The hotel is great. I didn’t have the breakfast cause I slept in. The shower is awesome. The water pressure was amazing. I didn’t give it a five stars just because five would be perfect」

「Love everything! From the beautiful retro room to the heated floors in the bay to the comfy bed. We love the decor and we need some relaxing time. Wife and I wish it was warmer to see the property and water views but it was cold! Maybe we come back in the summer 」

「El hotel está bien para pasar una noche lo único nesecita un update en los cuartos y el hot tub de la piscina no trabaja está dañado que esa fue una de las razones que me quede hay . Pero cuando llego me indicaron q no funciona :( el muchacho del lobby q me atendió ese día era muy amable 」

「The staff were wonderful: they cheerfully accommodated our wish to access our room early. Everyone was kind and helpful. The rooms were spotless, the bed extremely comfortable. The location is perfect: the Thaxter is in the heart of the old port city and you are surrounded by beautiful historic buildings, good restaurants and interesting shops. We will gladly stay there again.」
