"The scheduling for dinner in the restaurant is really bad. They should change it to where you can schedule from an app. Not have to go to service desk at 8 o’clock in the morning. I was there seven days and only got to schedule two dinners."

"We've been here many times and it never disappoints. The only issue we had was with the included transfer from the airport. I booked 3 elite club rooms for 6 of us, filled out the links they sent us for the transportation provider, destination services, but on arrival at Cancun they only had reservations for 4 of us. We showed all our confirmation emails and eventually got on a van over an hour later. This was after double checking with destination services before we left our airport of origin and also calling expedia customer service before we left. expedia has always given me excellent customer service but they were a little frustrated with destination services when they contacted them to sort out the issue. I had to go to the destination services desk at the resort twice to sort out our return to the airport. Riu, hire a better transfer operator."

"Rooms were very clean. Staff were awesome. Pool was great and food was top notch, there was always a variety of food to eat from the buffet breakfast, luch and dinner. Overall experience was exceptional."

"This is the second time we have been here. It is a beautiful resort. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. Their restaurants have amazing food. It is a quiet resort. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of music at the pool. They only had it during a water workout class. They had it playing at the one pool, but it was so low no one could hear it. If you want a lounge chair by the pool, you do need to get there pretty early, or it's difficult to find one. We really enjoyed the swim out pool connected to our room. But there was a musty smell in our room and surrounding the property. I'm sure it's difficult to get rid of the smell with the swim out pools being right by the room . They did a great job cleaning up the sargasm seaweed along the beach every day. Unfortunately, the last day of our visit it came in so quickly they were unable to keep up with it. Matteo and Roberto were extremely friendly and always had a refill of our favorite drink!"

"We had such a great stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well taken care of. The food was really good—plenty of options and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. One of the highlights for us was the kids’ area—it was amazing! The kids had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable for our family. Overall, we truly loved our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway"

"This resort was definitely worth the money! Food was good, many different options especially in the buffets. The rooms were clean and housekeeping did its thing every morning! The shuttle was available 24/7 which was a plus especially with a toddler. Many activities throughout the day for the kids and families. "

"This hotel is not as bad as some people reviews it, but I do have to say it needs major updates. The AC is bad, 9th floor the lowest it went was 21.5C and they gave me a second room and was same. Plus there was a couple of roaches. They cut the water twice while we were showering without announcing it. Food was fine to us, servers specially in the italian restaurant seems tired and very mean specially the younger ones. I would like to give a big shoutout to Andrea at front desk and to Jose Juan at the Cruceros bar. Yolanda at the breakfast grill. Thank you guys. Entertainment is boring, how is it that we’re in MEXICO and the music is in English? Come on! This is sad! Where did they lose their culture ? i went a few years ago nothing like this time. I love the views and the food mainly but if there’s no major updates no one is going back. "
