There's a 7/11 dowstairs for anything you might need , 10 min from the flag or the clock plaza, restaurants, stores, icecream, local vendors all within walking distance. AC working great kept the room comfortable. Clean rooms Hotel offers coffee, hot water , croissant with butter and jelly and they'll bring a tray to tour room every morning at the time you decide. There is a pool but was too busy to go try it. Overall I recomend it.

Staff was nice and location was central. Nice ocean view. Unfortunately, the traffic and motorcycles racing and reving their engines until 1am ruined my sleep and my early morning dive. The room was big but the bed was a bit on the harder side.

Overall, I had a good stay in one of the ocean view rooms. The room was spacious with strong air conditioning, and the balcony had a nice ocean view. The location is good, easy to walk to just about everything in town, 7/11 right downstairs. Staff were friendly and welcoming. A couple of downsides: the road outside can be noisy late into the early hours, and the property is a bit dated with some areas that could use better maintenance. The pool is fairly small and shallow, but it's fine for a quick dip. No tea/coffee in the room, although you can get complimentary coffee delivered to the room in the morning. That said, for the price it’s good value. I would stay here again and would recommend it if you’re looking for a convenient location with ocean views without paying luxury resort prices.

I had a beautiful view of the ocean. Everything was convenient, with a 7/11 right next door. I had a lovely time and it didn't break the bank. I was very satisfied with my stay.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially Natalia. Everything is clean and well kept from that aspect of things. We enjoyed our stay "in the city", and will likely stay with Vista Del Mar again in the future. We can tell the building has been undergoing renovations. There still a lot of minor things that need some TLC to spruce things up. The centre spray portion of our shower head was missing, and promptly replace when we pointed it out. The staff are kind and interested in making the stay enjoyable. Natalia was very generous to us with her time to help sort out an issue we had with an activity reservation. Very smart and kind young lady. The hotel is located ion the heart of activities in the downtown are. Most places ar 5-10 minute walk, some more distant places 15-20 minutes. Lots of bars on the main drag as well as souvenir shops and the Cozumel Museum. There are many great little restaurants off of the beaten path to explore.

Hotel felt neglected, though apparently they are doing construction on the pool area. Furniture was stained, dirty and broken (I had them remove a chair from my room during check in so I wasn’t blamed for it). Very dated and well worn though I could tell they were trying to keep it clean. The rooms have no soundproofing and just the dropping of objects on the floor from upstairs guest was loud. I only stayed 1 of the 3 nights I booked. All that said, the staff was very friendly and the location is great (the sliding door was pretty sound proof enough to deal with the street noise) and they were generous is offering compensation as I checked out early.
