"This historic hotel is a gem. The lobby and common areas are lovely. The rooms are small as you would expect but showing some wear that could easily be addressed. The elevator was broken and it was necessary to ask for help with luggage - not offered automatically."

"This is such a cute little place however dining options are slim. We eat from the gas station across the street because there was nothing open past 530 on a Sunday. We did meet some really nice people while sitting in the picnic area. "

"The Holland Hotel has great character and charm - sign in guest books, city newspapers free in the lobby, woodwork and leatherwork for display and sell - and get this...door keys, not card passes but actual keys. Great staff with reasonable answers to uncommon questions and an Amtrak Train Station one block over. Sit a spell, give the bar a try and grub down in the restaurant. You will enjoy your time."
