This was a pleasant accommodation in Ft. Davis, but nothing special, really, for the price. It was nice to have our own small cottage, but it was in need of a little updating. We happened to be there on Monday and Tuesday nights when basically no restaurants (save one) were open, so we had to kind of savage for meals. There is a decent market, which was helpful. I doubt we’d stay there again if in the area.

A quaint property conveniently located to delicious food and Davis Mt State Park. We loved getting to use the fireplace on a chilly night. Very clean and well maintained property and communication was great!

Loved the Cozy Butterfield Inn

Very comfortable room with a working fireplace, although it wasn’t cold enough to use it. Lovely enclosed courtyard patio where you could enjoy a glass of wine or a beer and pizza from the on-site pub. Great proximity to the McDonald Observatory.

The room was large and looked freshly painted. The coffee pot handles both filters for pots and pods, a unique design. The heat pump A/C worked great. The side-street parking brought you close to the door, and the location was quiet. The only three things that were less than optimal are that the in-room ice maker was very noisy (we turned it off after the first night), the beds creaked, and the bathroom needs renovating (the shower didn't work well, you need a shelf for toiletries, more towel space for a room that can hold 4 people, etc.).

Very cute cottage with fireplace and 2 recliners! About 5 minutes from Fort Davis and Davis Mountains State Park so if you don't want to camp, this is a great place to stay.

The team was awesome and extremely attentive. The room was smaller than it was pictured but clean and nice. We had all of the necessary amenities including sonic ice. The ladies were so friendly and helpful. There was not alot going on in the town but the stop was still nice.

Loved the individual cabins strong the courtyard! Checking in and it was easy as could be. We also really enjoyed the tasting room right next door—ambiance was super cute and both the drinks and food were delicious!

Great experience. Cottage was adorable and very clean and well furnished/appointed. Easy parking. Part of property contains a bar that also serves food (bar fare). Will stay again when next in Fort Davis!

Cutest cottage in west Texas

The cottage is clean, the beds were very comfortable and we loved how they were decorated. Our two pets enjoyed their stay as well. The town is really cute too. We only stayed one night traveling through Texas but we’d stay here again. Communication was excellent!

Just what you want. Cozy. Clean. Well maintained. Communication was great. It was spring when we stayed and they were planting flowers. You could tell they cared about the place. There’s a convenient restaurant and bar with local beers on tap, right at the front.
