"I couldn’t get over how amazing this place was. We went for our honeymoon and wish we stayed two nights instead of one. We got a room with the open air bath and a great view of Forrest Valley. It was beautiful, a much needed soak in the tub after walking for days. The staff is great and so friendly. We had dinner at their Teppanyaki restaurant which was the best dinner we’ve had in Japan. The next morning, we had a quiet stroll to Chisuji Falls and stumbled upon a beautiful garden on the way....

We found the shuttle service directly from Odawara station to be very helpful and convenient. The free shuttle to and from Gora station was also very convenient...

"Such a beautiful and peaceful place to unwind. The views are amazing, calming and the cherry trees in bloom were the cherry on top of the cake. Walks by the lake with views of Mount Fuji were so peaceful The rooms are comfortable, the bedding of good quality and the toilets are so good. "Lovely hotel, rooms and views. Very accommodating, for a price. Comparatively expensive for the other places we stayed in Japan, but they were excellent. Designed to be a resort, it is unnecessary to leave the property but they made everything in the area very easy to access. Common area and restaurants were very pleasant spaces to relax. "

"The hotels is very peaceful. There is nothing like ending your night on the grass while looking at the Mt. Fuji sunset. We loved our stay. They even included kids skippers. The onsen has Mt Fuju views depending the day you go. The rooms are big, I recommended the water view."

Sadly not 5-stars because expedia markets this hotel for 2-6 people per room, but when you book a room, it only does so for 2, and on arrival you have to pay to have the other 4 stay as well. "
