"We had a memorable stay at Fire Fly!! We stayed in the Gold House which was a wee trek to the main facilities but had everything we needed!! Was bigger than we expected and had a fully equipped kitchen and two huge bathrooms! The decor was beautiful! We loved sitting on the upstairs balcony each morning enjoying Bali coffee overlooking the rice fields! It was a short wark to main streets for shopping and eating and dance shows etc! "Staff unfriendly...sheets, doona in my son's room had sex stains all over them. Reported to staff at 2.10pm...returned at 8pm and still not fixed. Both rooms were old and dirty...when we checked in at 12.00 they tried to say we had 1 room booked...fixed that and then when we came back at 2pm to go to our rooms they once again tried to say we had 1 room booked. We had booked 5 nights and stayed 1! Other people were also upset and leaving. I feel that it is a scam....they want you to leave. ...

"The place is in the heart of the city so very convenient if you want that access. Extremely inexpensive but still should be clean. The beds were fine however the bathroom / toilet although rinsed had somewhat of a smell. No HoT water which is something hotel.com should note"

"Very fair price, clean sleeping area with friendly staff. Bathrooms were decent. Rooftop area is nice and relaxing. Breakfast is light fare, but there is a Cafe at the ground level with excellent coffee and food menu and very nice service staff. I would definitely stay here again!"
