We arrived at new garden view, was met with lovely staff with a welcoming drink and shown to our room. We booked the poolside room and immediately upon entering there was a stale smell in the room, the room was run down and old as well as being advertised as a king bed we soon came to realise it was 2 single beds pushed together, the room had 2 small windows which resulted in it being quite dark. We then notified the staff we did not like the room which thankfully they ‘upgraded us for free’ to a room above the entrance to the hotel, which was much better but after the first night realised how loud it would be to be situated right near Y bar where music was played till 12am every night the whole duration of our stay (11 days) aside from Nyepi Day. Speaking of Nyepi Day, we were offered a dinner buffet at 225k pp, I know a lot of people were disappointed as the menu was well known to all guests upon booking for the dinner, we were served 1/3 of desserts advertised, which was a cold, plain apple pie. Our balcony would’ve been great also if the glass roof wasn’t reflecting off making the balcony useless during the day. 2 pools which was good and rooftop pool was adults only, unfortunately tiles at the bottom of the pool were broken then became hazards. Breakfast was nothing special. Overall stay was okay, but I think too expensive for a hotel this run down.

Loved the cool spacious rooms and the showers are to die for! We stayed in the ground rooms not the apartment rooms. It was quiet and peaceful. Location location for us. The roof top pool is a must, the main ground was always packed, even got the rooftop pool to myself at one stage!!! Loved our stay and will stay again.

Staff lovely, swim up bar was great. The pool on top of the building had a great view. The rooms are a bit tired, especially the bathroom, but for the price you pay, it was so convenient to everywhere. We had an enjoyable stay. You could not hear anything from the Y-Bar either.
