「Parking area packed on weekend. People seemed to park there to go out onto beach 」

「Le niveau de propreté de la première chambre ne nous convenait pas (draps, douche, toilettes). Nous avons demandé à changer et c’était mieux. 15 minutes de marche du cartier historique.」

「Very spacious room and shower. Sheets were the smoothest I’ve ever felt. Bathroom lighting was with a floor lamp- not good. Bedside lamp bulb was dying. 」

So glad that the area by the pool was complete and the beach area was being redone from hurricane damage 2 years ago 」

「Great hotel」

「We were very happy with Southern Oaks Inn. It was conveniently located, easy to find and had a free shuttle to the historic district. Our room looked like it was recently renovated and clean. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well. The free breakfast was wonderful! Eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, grits, some fruit, coffee & orange juice. We wish we were staying more than one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. And they had the best price that I could find. Will definitely stay...

「The area and view from our room wasnt great..but was adequate for our trip.. i dont like when things are broken..like the shade..the auto switch for the AC.. no way to plug the tub to take a bath.. small things like that..otherwisenothing to complain about」

「The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the lack of turning down the room. Bit disappointing coming back to a room with dirty towels and an unmade bed. Maybe no one is doing this anymore. Friendly staff and great location.」

「We stayed for just 1 night but they allowed us to check in early and the room was very clean. I was very pleased that when we opened the door to go in the room the ac was turned on and it was nice and cool and it smelled amazing. I will definitely book this hotel again when we return to St Augustine Beach. 」

「The hotel was under construction at the time of our visit so the pool was unavailable. They only offered fruit and pre-packed pastries with coffee for breakfast. I’m sure once the construction is completed it will be much better . 」
