The staff are really nice and the place is very convenient and decent for the price only thing i didnt like was the metal bedframe when you mive around on the bed if ya know what i mean sounds like its scraping the floor and the chair was old in our room looks dirty guess cause of overtime stains but the breakfast was great had several hot foods like eggs with cheese in the middle and sausage,biscuits and gravy,cereal milk,apple juice and orange juice,yogurt,bananas etc. The pool is awesome too was quiet not crowded plus we went too the goo goo dolls concert got back to the room late around 11pm and me and my wife went swimming and the staff didnt have a problem with it or kick us out cause says only open til 9pm so was great especially enjoying the water after a hot concert so that was cool

The Villa 1565 isnt bad but it does not look like what is advertised. The bed was very comfortable and the shower is nice. The livingroom furniture in the king suite was not comfortable at all. The first night we had a swarm of what looked like flying ants swarming ohr door. When we opened the door they flew in. So we basically spent the first night killing bugs. The room also smelt very bad like old musky/mold smell. We had to light a candle anytime we were in the room. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

This MOTEL was completely misleading. The photos online do not match what the property actually is. If I would’ve known this was a roadside motel, I would not have stayed.

I was in one of the king size bed rooms in the front of the property. I was worried I’d hear traffic from the street or the trolley that goes through the property. I didn’t hear anything! The breakfast is great, the location worked well, the interior of the room including bathroom is modern and the staff was helpful. I look forward to staying here again.

Room was clean and AC worked wonderfully! The location was great and within walking distance of several attractions as well as the bus tour so I did not have to use my car while in St Augustine which was a plus. Breakfast was average but hot and edible.

The stay was great. The only complaint I have, which is no fault of the hotel, is with the guest in the room next to us. It was a family with a small child. They continually fussed with each other rather loudly. The baby woke up around 4:30 and the adults argued with each other for at least an hour. It made it hard to go back to sleep. Other than that the stay was great!

This property was exactly what you would want and expect at this price point. Super convenient location easy 1 mile walk to the bridge of lions and end of St George Street so basically can walk anywhere for dinner. Trolley Tour comes right to the hotel and they sell tickets there too. Rooms could use some TLC but didn’t expect more for the price. Clean but just some fixtures etc that need replaced, worn out chair, bed springs noisy just getting on bed or turning over. But would absolutely stay here again.

The property being in the historic area was great! Within walking distance of a lot of stores and restaurants. The staff were really nice and check in went very good. I will have to say that the rooms are really dated and very dark when we entered the room. They really need to do some updating.

The perfect combination of cheapest and convenient! Facilities are not amazing but staff is friendly and efficient, breakfast is included and is at walkable distance from St Marcos, the Fountain of Youth, and the city center. I will definitely stay here again!
