"This place was so neat! It had a very unique cottage vibe with a wonderful breakfast option. Make sure you order it before your reservation day. Warnings: This place is out in the woods with limited bus routes available. Like only 5-6 routes all day. So plan accordingly. Also, each room has its own toilet but you shares the shower/onsen room. Only one family/person uses it at a time. "
"This location is absolutely lovely; the private hot tub is incredibly relaxing, especially with the garden view. I appreciate the breakfast delivery service, allowing for a meal at my preferred time, and the inclusion of wine or juice (the wine was particularly delightful). It was a very comfortable stay overall. It's been the most pleasant accommodation I've experienced."

Took the green bus to the ice cave and wind cave. While most people take the red line for the sight seeing around the lake it is less people to go to these two spots. And if you decide to take the green or blue line, make sure you get the 2 days pass

Excellent
An excellent area if you want to have a stunning view of Mount Fuji and explore the lakes around the hotel. The Mt Fuji Panorama Ropeway and the pagoda are worth the trip! Super friendly experience with decent food options in the city.

Off-peak period, not very crowded. Relaxing to walk along the lake. Weather (cold but sunny, clear sky, clear view of Mt Fuji) was perfect when I was there.

Magical area - lakes, mountains, the transport to other areas, don't forget the 'musical forest' with Dali's Rino!

Kawaguchiko has a relatively high density of tourists so it's important to plan your itinerary to avoid the crowds. Especially at the Chureito Pagado where the platform is small and tourists tend to get rude to have that picture-perfect shot.

Great sleepy town, stuff closes very early and getting back to Kyoto or Tokyo can be a trek. But the climb and Fuji-San made it worth it!

Amazing town, it honestly feels like the Banff of Japan! And very close to Mt. Fuji, you can see it from anywhere!
"This was our top stay inclusive of hotels in Tokyo, Lake Kawaguchiko, and Kyoto. So special to be beside the lake, have our own private onsen, and have dinner served right in our room.
This hotel and experience was everything we imagined and hoped for."
"A really lovely hotel with a great view of Mt Fuji. We had a good size room with a balcony, I loved just sitting on the balcony with a coffee. We added the evening taster dinner which was excellent. The breakfast was just as good. It was a 20 minute walk from the bus station, but used the free shuttle bus on the day we left to get us back to the bus station. Overall an excellent stay and would recomment it."
"I loved the view of the lagoon. The person who served us dinner was very kind and polite. She explained everything to us and set our table beautifully."
"Located at the top of a short, but very steep hill. They run a shuttle service to/from the train station though. Room was large and comfortable, and the views are wonderful. I would stay here again. "
