The hotel is in a beautiful spot on the lake. We had a room with a Mt Fuji view and a private onsen which was beautiful. The hotel itself is outdated however it has everything you need. The half board dinner was amazing and the staff were lovely! Highly recommend!
Staff were professional and kind. The food was amazing!

We stayed at the Lakeland Hotel for 2 nights, including half board. Both the Dinner and Breakfast were amazing, with great presentation and variety. The service was good, and the Hotel shuttle to the local station made it much easier for us to visit Mount Fuji.
Nice staff and employees who are always willing to help. we had a Japanese still room with loft, it is really romantic. And the breakfast and dinner are delicious with various kinds of options. We had a lovely staying there. The shuttle service from and to hotel was always on time. Thanks to the whole team, we will surely come back in the future.
Had the traditional breakfasts which were fun and tasty. Facilities were well kept and nice. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Really good views of the lake too.
The staff is amazingly friendly! We had a great stay at this traditional hotel. Older hotel but very clean! The views are incredible from the room and the park across the street is amazing! The best part of this all was the dining experience for dinner AND breakfast. Traditional Japanese meals with so many yummy things to try!
Staff was helpful from the start. Hotel provides courtesy shuttle to the hotel from Kawaguchiko station. Staff welcomes you into the hotel and guide you to your room. Staff will explain how to use any amenities such as the open air bath. Our room used a futon and a staff will come by and set up the room. Much like other reviews, hotel is outdated and quite far from any convenience store or restaurant.
Beautiful views of Lake Kawaguchiko. We were even lucky enough to have about a 12 hour cloudless(of 72) window to see Mt Fuji. Dining is strange. Three of our six meals were served in a windowless cubicle, when there were tables available in a large dining room with windows everwhere.
Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff.
