We chose this place mainly for the view and we were not disappointed, inspite of the weather. We procould have stayed another day to really enjoy the onsen, but one night was all We had. It was worth the price.
Bus stop not too far from the front entrance. Lake access. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast and dinner options available. Has a public bath in the top floor. If you have tattoos you have to cover them or use the private bath for 3000 yen.
Great hotel to stay in. Staff was above and beyond helpful and kind. Overall amazing stay and would return again. I would recommend to have more smoke free options as I dont remember booking a smoking room. And phsyicsl key can make it feel outdated.
Great that the hotel has shuttle to pick up / send you back to the station. The dinner and breakfast are great. But the soundproof is not enough seems as sometimes can hear others from the room.
Overall I quite enjoy staying in the hotel.
Outstanding value for money. Tiny rooms, as you would expect in Japan. However fantastic location with amazing views of Mount Fuji, especially from the wonderful onsen on the 6th floor. Lovely helpful staff and very nice breakfast. Thank you for an exceptional stay. Brett from Australia.
This property had an outstanding view of Mount Fuji… unfortunately the weather didn’t really work out. However, we did get a nice view our last day at the hotel
From our room the Mount Fuji view was spectacular and we have great photos. Although the next two day were filled with heavy rain, I felt sorry for the other tourists; who could not enjoy the Mount Fuji view. But we had a wonderful time and much thanks to the friendly staff. Aloha.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The stay in this hotel was pleasant. Breakfast was great, fresh and various options.
Onsen bath on the 6th floor was clean and facing the lake and part of Mt Fuji and at night beautiful!
Location is good, city buses are just at the door step. Note…lots of restaurants in the area closes 8pm.
The only thing “bad” is the lack of communication and signage in English, letting the guest know that shuttles to Kawaguchiko station are available if booked the day before upto 9pm.
Otherwise, great stay overall. Bang for your buck!
Nice location! The hotel is at Lake Kawaguchi-ko, and you can see Mt. Fuji from the hotel (If the weather and Sky are clear). The room is clean with all equipment, also the onsen with an Mt.Fuji view. We will go back again.
If you can afford . It s better to get lake vore room in the front -- it's additional $50 USD but you get the lake view.. if you stay in the back you only see the old ugly trees and cement wall
