"My husband and I had a most wonderful stay and are already planning our trip back for next year! Amazing food, presentation and all, private onsen and accommodating staff! We were so happy we chose to stay in this hotel. We will definitely be back. "
"Excellent host and very beautiful view of Mt Fuji. The owner made sure we had everything and also felt like home. She had also take away for pre-order, the food was so tasty. My boys loved it. Thank you so much for the experience. "
"The host was polite and thoughtful, always making sure we were comfortable. They were kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The place was quiet and peaceful — we had a very restful time. Would definitely recommend!"
"We had a lovely experience staying in Sakuya hotel. The owners were very kind and helpful, offered us shuttle van to go to town. Offered us private onsen which was very relaxing. Rooms were futon bed with a view of Mt Fuji, breakfast was so yum. Would definitely come next time. "
"Clean and affordable. Kids loved the lofted bed and having a small private bathroom. The hostel is in a quiet neighborhood, but a very quick 3 min walk to Oishi Park and the lake. The parking lot was actually at the Oishi Park and we liked seeing the park before and after the crowds. It felt easy to park with the lot attendants."
"This location is absolutely lovely; the private hot tub is incredibly relaxing, especially with the garden view. I appreciate the breakfast delivery service, allowing for a meal at my preferred time, and the inclusion of wine or juice (the wine was particularly delightful). It was a very comfortable stay overall. It's been the most pleasant accommodation I've experienced."

"A very thoughtful set up and breakfast is way better than how they advertised it. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Free shuttle to Kawaguchigo station but only 20 min walk if you want to do it. A 7 min walk to a grocery stores which open kind of late at 9am. Not too many restaurants around so plan accordingly. "
"The experience at Fufu is top notch. The quality and service by the staffs, facility, and dining are all 5 star level. The rooms are suite style with private onsen, offering a fabulous view of Mount Fuji when cloud didn't cover the mountain. The dinner and breakfast were excellent and Michelin star level, in the restaurant which also has a view of Mount Fuji. We're very happy to have chosen to stay in Fufu and didn't want to leave."

"I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The property was spotless and well-maintained, and the hospitality was truly outstanding. A special thank you to the property manager, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—helpful, professional, and genuinely kind. Every detail was taken care of, and the level of care and service made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-managed place to stay!"
"The best place for family/ friends’ staycation!
Lovely owners make your trip so special.
All the facility is well maintained with cute decors and very clean, everything is equipped. What you should bring is only food and drinks. It is located right next to the beautiful shrine which is Unesco world heritage, and having amazing view of Mt.Fuji from the terrace. We stayed with 2 toddlers and 4 adults but space was more than enough, all of us was really happy to stay in this beautiful property welcomed by amazing owners. Their hospitality is not by book, but from the bottom of their heart. We’ll surely come back again."
