One of our favorite stays in all of Japan! We will be returning for years to come. We absolutely enjoyed our traditional room. The staff who helped us settle in, serve our dinner, and transform our room into a bedroom did a fantastic job and were so kind to interact with. The check in staff was quick and efficient. The check out staff was kind enough to shuttle us back to the station. The entire hotel is kept up so nicely. This spot is a gem if you’re visiting the Mt Fuji, Lake Kawaguchiko area. The private onsen was an absolute dream!!!!

Very relaxing. Booked a private onsen room and half board. Definitely a nice break from travelling in bigger cities. Rented bikes right next door and biked around the entire lake. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again.

Our family of four had an amazing time at Konansou! I had emailed them prior to arrival to inquire about local transportation options to Mt Fuji and they arranged everything. The time spent at the Onsen was heavenly. The meal was extraordinary. We had left behind something in our room and they arranged to get it to us before our trip ended. Highly recommend making this a stop on your experience in Japan.

More than we ever expected! Everything was thought out, ameneties are provided (toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, q-tips, wipes, skin care, etc) Breakfast was safe as a person with peanut/nut allergies, every allergen is identified, made life easier. Staff is so kind and nice. They held out luggage after checking out. We took a free shuttle offered by the hotel to get to Kawaguchiko station. Very helpful,
