There was a nice onsen that would have great views of Fuji, however it was cloudy while we used it. The host was incredibly kind and responds super quick to messages. They even offered us a free shuttle to the train station after our stay. On top of this, they recommended a great traditional Hoto restaurant as well...

"Excellent view of Mt. Fuji. The owner is very nice, speaks good English, picked us up from the station for free, and gave us wonderful recommendations around the area, also responsive to texts. They also upgraded our room to a 1 whole house to ourselves, very clean and fully furnished. If you want a quieter and relaxing area with a great view of Mt Fuji, this is the one!"
