"Clean rooms start and breakfast"

"This is the perfect location for a good price in Kyoto. It seems to be a recent construction, as the materials and finishes look modern and new. We were not looking for extensive amenities such as gym, shops, etc. We stayed for 7 nights in order to carry out daily trips from Kyoto while still enjoying the city during late afternoons. The breakfast buffet is great, lots of traditional and non-traditional foods served from 6:30am, which was a plus to start early our days. The rooms extremely quiet, clean, and the rooms big for Japan standards. The bathroom was even larger than expected. The shower is a separate room with an integrated tub which was a good surprise. The 7-eleven connected to the hotel is super convenient for late snacking. So we were extremely satisfied as it is so close that made everything so convenient. Highly recommend if this is what you are looking for!"

"Beautiful hotel with a great location."

"Excellent stay. Quiet 4 nights stay in basic room with two beds. Breakfast is excellent & location is close to Kyoto station. Lots of shops & restaurants. Hotel able to show us which bus to take to which area of interest. The afternoon dessert & night time happy hour are great perks. I even enjoyed that I can make a Japanese craft to bring home. "

"in true Japanese character, the hotel was in perfect form from both the staff engagement to the facilities. This is not even taking consideration of the location being significantly convenient being above the train station which in itself for Western standards is well above our expectations."

"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We stayed in a suite and the room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed and high quality amenities. Housekeeping did an excellent job maintaining the room throughout our visit. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly situated to major attractions. I would definitely stay here again if I visited Kyoto again. "
