"Great stay. Rooms, staff, cleanliness, parking were excellent. We were there for a couples golf trip however, we played King and Bear (which were part of the golf village)!we almost missed our tee time as we didn't realize the course is 7 miles away. "

"The hotel is in a great location with lots of food and shopping within walking distance. All of the staff were lovely. The pool/gym could use some attention but were still fine. The shower handle in our room was a little wonky but again not a big deal. We didn’t eat at the restaurants but they looked busy. The valets were fast and super nice. They even told us about the golf club associated with the hotel and my husband and son played and loved it. As a mom, traveling with my husband and two kids, what matters the most is the location, comfort for sleeping, safety, and if my kids have fun. The staff could not have been nicer to my 12 and 13 year children. They enjoyed the pool and had a great time. "

"This hotel was rated a 2 star! Whomever rated it doesn’t know anything. A 4 star, staff was fantastic, rooms were spacious and clean, big pool. All the visitors we talked to were very happy with Southern Oaks Inn. Back in October and will rebook with them! "
