My family and I spent 3 nights/4 days here, and the visit was a mix of good and bad.
What we loved:
Front‑desk service: John (evening shift) was outstanding from the moment we checked in. Friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help, he truly made us feel welcome and set a high bar for the stay. He really was fantastic.
What needs work:
Housekeeping: On our last full day, our room was skipped entirely even though we’d been out well before the end of the cleaning shift. After a long day out, coming back to an unmade room without towels was frustrating. We did let the front desk know and since it was our last night, we just accepted it and asked for extra towels.
Smoking policy enforcement: At 11 p.m. the night before we left and again starting at 7:30 a.m., guests in the room next door were smoking. The smell drifted through our vents and woke us up. We reported the issue three separate times, but nothing changed. Despite multiple complaints, there was no remedy offered, so we packed up and left. We ended our vacation feeling exhausted.
Bottom line:
The hotel has real potential thanks to team members like John, but inconsistent housekeeping and lack of response to serious guest concerns overshadowed the positives. I hope management tightens its non‑smoking enforcement and improves guest‑care follow‑up.
