"Another trip to Catalonia in the books. This is our 2nd stay at this resort and 4th stay within the last 2 years at the Catalonia hotels (2 in costa mujeras and 2 here in puerto aventuras) The good: Staff Food Location Activities Beach front Private ocean swimming right out the back door Clean pool Grounds are immaculate! Gym is great (open earlier than 630am please) Privileged room (clean/good A/C) The hotel is 10/10 We have stayed multiple times and we have enjoyed each stay. The location is great, food and pools are excellent. Staff is top notch! Angeles, thanks for the extra attention to our room asks, you went above and beyond. Guys/gals - if you seek a clean, nice and perfectly located hotel in a quiet city - this could be the place for you. I’ve stayed at the costa Mujeras location 2 times as well- and although that location is a little more updated - this is the better of the hotels we’ve stayed at in the Catalonia family of hotels. I’ve stayed in the standard rooms and the privileged and honestly they are both great options. Clean, A/C is good and good overall service. Bad: Not sure there is much to make note of here: Maybe expand the gym hours to open earlier? I’m honestly really stretching here. The walk to the golf carts can be a little long winded at the end of a night laying by the pool - maybe have a stop a little closer? You can see I’m really stretching here. We are booked for 2027 May. See you soon."

"We booked this place for 6 people after the original place we booked in Playa del Carmen fell through because that owner never provided access details. When we booked this place last minute we were almost instantly provided with details and recommendations about the area. The home is really nice though it was too big for us. We stayed in the main house, which consists of 3 beds and 3 baths. Upstairs were 2 separate apartments each with 2 beds, a bathroom, a kitchen, and balcony. The area is really nice and quiet at night. Less than a half mile from the apartment is a bunch of places to eat and the Dolphin Discovery center that you can walk around at night after hours. My daughters loved watching and interacting with the dolphins at night."

"We had a wonderful stay at this home and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Aventuras. The house was spacious, very clean, and extremely well maintained. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and truly felt like a home away from home. One of our favorite things about staying in Puerto Aventuras is the location itself. The community feels very safe and offers plenty of restaurants, shops, and conveniences, so there’s really no need to leave the complex if you don’t want to. The home features a beautiful backyard with a great pool, which was perfect for relaxing and spending time with family. Overall, this was an excellent property, and we would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Puerto Aventuras."

"Great stay for the money. It’s on the harbor side but there’s public beach access within walking distance. The hotel provides free bikes if walking isn’t your thing. Rooms are clean and have a typical hotel layout. The patio is equipped with a hammock and a beach lounger. There’s a small pool to cool off in. There’s a small bridge across the edge of the lagoon that forms a pool inside the property with fish. The restaurant is everything waffles (even a burger waffle). Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it! Food has chef vibes! I recommend renting a golf cart for shopping and access to more restaurants. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Coconut bar is about 1/4 mile away. Cheers!"
