The beach is unmatched. The rooms are very nice. Could use more lighting especially in the bathroom. The bathroom did not have an air vent or a lock on the door. Some more shelving and drawers would have been useful for our long stay. The fridge needs to be colder. But overall the resort is great. We would definitely stay again. Good service. I would advise booking all the restaurants available. The buffet is very convenient but take advantage of the restaurants.

This is by far our favorite resort. Absolutely kids friendly, with so many activities planned throughout the week. Family Selection is a must if you have kids. It gives you access to all the perks and allows for the parents to enjoy Adults Only part of the resort while the children can stay in the Kids Center under great supervision. We travel with my kids, parents and siblings and we always book family selection. Delicious food, amazing time and great staff! We loved Maria and Israel at Family Selection Pool, our butler Daniel and driver Fernando. They made our stay extra special ☺️👏

This is my wife’s and my second time to the resort. We stayed at the White Sands side last time but decided to try the Kantenah area during our Jan trip with our two friends. I like to pick resorts with great beach access for snorkeling and ones that are 4-5 stars for amenities. We love this resort because of the snorkelling, and great tennis facilities. Victor who ran the activity center was excellent. He was our archery instructor and helped get us our tennis equipment every morning. He took the time to help my wife with her Spanish. In fact all of the staff were very friendly and provided excellent service all over the resort. Special mention also goes to Donald who ran the turbo class. We found that the drinks at the Grand Palladium were generally better quality than some other resort we have tried. One big bonus of this stay was enjoying VIP status because of booking with Expedia. This allowed us to enjoy the entire resort and get priority booking at the restaurants. We would highly recommend this resort.

The GP staff (e.g. front desk, activities and restaurants) really stood out as consistently more friendly and genuine than our previous resort. We’ve had many resort vacations in the Mayan Riviera and Grand Palladium has been our best experience so far. Also very good beach and restaurants.

Amazing hospitality! Very caring with my needs. So many things to do in this resort perfect for families! They tamper you with so much food. No need to go out the resort and there is so many activities. So many pools and beaches. Very careful and polite with everybody. They honor their guests! Always their when you need it never going to feel hungry just going to gain weight.

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with our recent stay at Grand Palladium. As a large party that planned this trip well in advance, we were met with a level of unprofessionalism that has ensured we will never return to this property. The primary reason for our outrage is the conduct of the manager on duty regarding an alleged damage charge. We were charged for a broken table that was clearly damaged prior to our arrival; the table was lopsided and missing an entire leg. The manager specifically targeted our children, blaming them for the damage and claiming to have video evidence. However, when we asked to see this footage, he repeatedly refused to show it. It is clear that no such evidence exists, and using children as a scapegoat to cover for faulty furniture is unacceptable. Furthermore, the management’s lack of judgment ruined our final day. The manager chose to bring a subcontractor to the pool area to discuss repairs/issues right in the middle of our stay, causing a major disruption. This could have easily been handled at a more reasonable time to avoid ruining the guest experience. Beyond this specific incident, the general service was well below standards: • Communication: Despite giving two weeks’ notice for dining reservations, emails took 2–3 days for a response, and phone calls consistently went unanswered. • Food Quality: The quality of the dining was very poor and did not meet the expectations of a resort at this price point.

The staff in family selection areas were extremely friendly. The cleanliness was great. And the variety of activities to do from day to day was amazing. Would definitely return! Recommend the tapanyaki restaurant as well as the nest for breakfast!

We stayed here as a group of 15 and would not return. The most serious issue was a stone-top table collapsing onto a child during dinner at El Dorado. The table was missing a leg, and other tables were unstable as well. Instead of apologizing or addressing safety, the resort later demanded $1,000, accused a small child of causing the accident, and claimed to have video evidence they refused to show. We had video showing the table defect. Management ignored it. We were also told we had to pay $750 just to be seated together at dinner, which defeats the purpose of an all-inclusive resort for groups. We were split up for most meals despite availability. Our room did not match what we booked (one bed instead of two queens despite an upgrade), and shuttles were overcrowded and uncomfortable, especially with kids. The most disappointing part was management’s attitude—they openly stated they don’t care about negative reviews or repeat guests. There are far better all-inclusive options in Cancun. Choose another resort.

We spent nearly $12,000 CAD on this trip, and the overall experience was deeply disappointing for the price paid. The room was cramped and unsuitable for a family. Our male and female children, with a five-year age difference, were expected to share the most uncomfortable pull-out couch imaginable, which is not appropriate for a resort marketing itself as family-friendly and charging premium rates. Basic room maintenance was also lacking. The suite entry light was burnt out, making it difficult to see when entering the room, and the amount of dust was excessive. I personally have severe asthma, and the dust levels were a genuine health concern throughout our stay. Transportation around the resort was poorly managed and inconsistent. We regularly waited 20 minutes or more, while guests who arrived after us were taken first. An empty cart passed us and refused to take children, making access to restaurants and amenities frustrating. Although multiple buffets are advertised, there was no reliable way to get to them. Despite advertising an all-inclusive experience, service was clearly prioritized for guests who tipped. Bar and service staff were noticeably more attentive to those providing cash tips, which defeats the purpose of paying for an all-inclusive resort. We also experienced inconsistent enforcement of rules. Our son was denied service for not wearing a shirt, which we understood and immediately corrected. However, we then observed other boys without shirts being served
