Grand Palladium Riviera Maya – Guest Experience Report
I’ve stayed at the Grand Palladium in Riviera Maya before and had wonderful experiences in the past. Unfortunately, this most recent visit was deeply disappointing and fell far below the standard I’ve come to expect from a resort of this caliber.
To begin with, the butler service was unreliable and ineffective. Every time I made a request, it was either ignored or never followed through on. This was a consistent issue throughout my stay, and it significantly impacted my overall experience.
There were also major delays when it came to food and beverage service. Whether it was lunch or dinner, waiting for drinks became a frustrating routine. The service was noticeably inconsistent and slow.
On my first day, I had trouble getting into my room and approached the manager for assistance. Unfortunately, the manager was unhelpful and did not resolve the issue. Once I finally got access to the room, I noticed that it was never properly stocked with drinks or snacks—something that should be standard for this level of resort.
Another deeply concerning issue was the behavior of some of the staff. There appeared to be a clear preference shown toward white guests over others. This kind of unequal treatment is unacceptable and left a lasting negative impression.
