The area was ok. Not a lot to see or do. The water in the canals, lagoon full of jellyfish and oily.

Stay in the Puerto Adventuras complex - it is safe. If you wander out, then make sure it's with a tour from the hotel or your travel agent. It's not super safe to walk out of the complex itself - we did it once and will not do it again.

It is a very safe gated community. There is much to do without going out of this community. Shopping and many restaurants are within walking distance. We rented a golf cart to explore the entire community. We never felt unsafe anywhere we went

great location shopping in compound dolphins discovery was great gelato shop was awsome beach were okay foods wasnt too great overall pleased with location could have chooses a better hotels in the compound.
