「The room at Jungala was very spacious and quite well maintained. The decor was also nicer than the other hotels on the property. Pools were excellent and we loved the cabanas for free if you spend money on food. I would recommend booking dining at restaurants instead of eating at Salum all the time, we found the service at Salum to be hit and miss. 」

「We liked the property and the size. It wasn’t overly huge, but still had great amenities and a good choice of different restaurants included. The included transportation was extremely convenient and the staff in both restaurants and the hotel were always helpful.」

「Rooms were clean, bathroom decent size just didn’t like that the toilet was so close to the shower. Staff was amazing. I went now in May and unfortunately was met with a beach with so much seawood but that’s my fault for going during this time. The food… gets a 0/10. With the exception with the mexican restaurant that you have to reserve which was a 10/10 and (not the italian or japanese because i didn’t have a chance to go to) everything else was not good. No variation, no traditional mexican...

「Upon entering the resort we were welcomed with champagne and helpful staff that assisted with our luggage. My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon and appreciated our getaway at such a beautiful location within steps away from the beach. Resort has lots of amenities and a great a variety of food and drinks. Highly recommended!」

「This was one of the most dreamy places I've ever visited. The grounds were gorgeous between the beach, the jungle, and the architecture. The service was unrivaled. Luxurious in every sense. Can't wait to come back!」

「We stayed for 9 nights and there was not a day without some kind of mistake or misunderstanding. The staff is very very polite and friendly, but they lack professionalism and training. Some servers in the restaurants don’t speak very good English, so that can be an area of improvement. The overall impression is that the whole operation is out of tune. Strong management and review of all aspects of operations is recommended. Alila is not on par with the rest of the Mayakoba hotels.」
