We were very happy with the size of our room, Junior Suite and the staff were exceptional. The resort amenities were somewhat limited with three À la Cart restaurant options and the buffet. The food was good but not excellent. The biggest disappointment was the beach which is very small and rocky. A short walk down the beach provided for better sand but you would need to walk back to get drinks and lounge in the resort chairs. We chose this location as a base for travelling and loved the ability to walk around Playa Del Carmen. Overall we were happy with the property and would go there again if we wanted to be in the centre of the action in Playa.

The staff is courteous from check in with a welcome to paradise drink through the checkout process. The resort is immaculately kept and the staff has pride in the facility. Place was clean, food good but only complaint is the loudness - peoples voices were echoing in the halls at all hours which made sleeping difficult.

Hotel was nice, we appreciated the more traditional Mexican building. Since there is no beach, the pool area was overcrowded and people showing up at 7 am or earlier in the morning to save seats was a problem. Pool and nightly entertainment was extremely loud, not enjoyable. Selection of restaurants was good, specialty better than buffet, which was very repetitive, and quite often, food cold. Coffee shop was a pleasant surprise. Number of younger adults drunk and out of control, could have been handled better by staff.

We had an amazing time! Excellent customer service, clean, great location, amenities and entertainment were great. The only thing I would say that needs enhancing … pillows are uncomfortable, they won’t let you take your food to your room(outside restaurants) and wet bar doesn’t have a good selection for people that don’t drink beer. However, we would definitely come back again!

I loved our stay there! The food was amazing and the vibe was really nice. The beach bar was 10 out of 10. The value and the service was super spot on. We stayed at Xcaret and preferred the Alltra out of the two.

Shoutout Victoria our room cleaner she was the real MVP of the trip. Also shoutout the entertainment team making the trip a blast. The resorts location is tremendous. 2 minute walk from 5th ave. Buffett for lunch and dinner sucked but that’s resort food for you. The Italian restaurant and Mexican restaurants were great. Steakhouse could use some work. Not a ton of young people but the entertainment team made it fun for those of us who were there.

It was a nice small resort right downtown playa del Carmen which made it unique. Pros-nightlife and entertainment in playa del Carmen all walking distance. Pools were nice. Staff were very nice 👍 and friendly Food was pretty good but ran right through me lol Pool volleyball was a blast and water was somewhat warm Coffee shop was legit Cons: No good beach Rooms were older and outdated(at least the one we got) Entertainment at night wasn’t to exciting compared to other resorts but I don’t really stay up to late anyways. Overall it was small and unique resort with great staff. If you want to experience the playa del Carmen city this is a great resort to go to.
