This is the worst 5-star all-inclusive experience our family had during christmas. We did not have hot shower for three nights and the room has been freezing cold. We informed the hotel the first night and they kept sending maintenance people without fixing it. And whats worse, they did not really care about our problems. Everytime I called them, I need to explain the situation again. And what I got is 'we will send someone to fix' ' the hotel is fully booked so not possible to change the room' or 'this is the general problem'. The daily activities and restaurants are good but I think the room itself is the basic of which the problem and technicians visits, really bother our holiday mood.

On the first day, the air conditioner had a severe moldy smell that caused a terrible headache and sore throat. After that, I couldn’t use it at all, no matter how hot it was. The amenity containers also seemed poorly cleaned and had a strong damp, wet rag smell, which was extremely unpleasant and unhygienic.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The river flowing through the grounds made for a great place to walk, explore, and travel into the park. I loved how close we were to the beach. The fact that there was wildlife and plants integrated into the paths between the hotel and beach was incredible. I highly recommend Xcaret park as well…this park is in its own class of beauty and has so many options. You could easily spend days there. The food was not good. You get what you pay for. I pretty much stuck to what I knew. Breakfast was fine and the beer was beer so that’s about all I needed. It is worth going into town for better food.

The grounds were lush and green with creatures roaming throughout. Pools were great, ample food options but challenging to get into the more desirable restaurants. The buffets were better than others I've had at all inclusuves. Location adjacent to Xcaret was a plus and easily walkable for park activities. I had a great short massage in the spa. The kids loved it!

This resort is incredibly beautiful with amazing staff that were kind and friendly. The only reason I did not rate this 5 stars is because both the breakfast and lunch options were redundant. The food items were all the same every single day without any variety.

The property was beautiful! Abundant wildlife, it was amusing to watch the monkeys on the trails, trees and balconies 🤗 the pools were big enough for all of the guests remember to put your towels down early if you want a chair! Same with the beach. There is a lot of walking Moses was great he picked us up a few times in a cart. The pillows were not comfortable! The cots are more comfortable than the pull out couch. The food was what you would expect at an all inclusive plentiful and fresh but my granddaughter said bland. Xcaret was great we got the unlimited pass and went to the park all but one day.

The resort is so cool because of the wild life! Monkeys, deer, iguanas, etc. however, the rooms are only okay, nothing WOW. I also ended up getting some sort of bug while there and was so sick the last 3 days of our trip. Horrible diarrhea, ended up having to go to the ER as soon as we got home. I’m assuming it’s due to poor hand hygiene and food handling. I watched one of the bartenders mix a drink with his finger, multiple staff members not using gloves to serve or prepare food, etc.

I had to change rooms because the first room had mildew and smell like mildew then the second room had cockroaches and the air conditioning was sweating all over and leaking I checked out working on how to get my money back I stayed there only one night

Lots of wildlife on the grounds. The resort was beautiful. Great location next to Xcaret. Wish the pools were cleaned more often to get the leaves out. Lots of beach loungers need to be replaced. Great family resort

The property was in good condition. There are a couple things that bothered me. The staff near my room building continued to want me to stop and get information about returning. I had not even started my vacation and already felt them wasting my time trying to listen to promotions. Also the buffet staff were trying to take my plate 5 minutes after I started eating. In one instance the waitress told me 3 times that they will be closing the buffet in 15 minutes. If I still had 15 minutes to eat I don’t see why they had to continue to bother me. One time notice would have been enough.

The whole hotel and grounds are kept extremely clean. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The animals on the grounds give the hotel that extra touch.

Coffee was terrible even the one we bought! They didn’t mop the hallway floors, we were there for 4 days and the floors stayed dirty. Food was gross drinks are gross syrup tastes like chemicals. The first room they gave us was full of mold it smelled so bad they moved us rooms to a side where they were remolding they started demo at 6 am and it smelled like acetone. The beds were small and hard definitely do not recommend.
