"The hotel is outdated when we arrived. The staff was cordial however, whenever we want it something extra, it seemed as if we were a bother. Our room number was 104. The door does not go all the way to the floor. There’s a huge 1 inch opening for anything to crawl Leah. And the bathroom tile is outdated and around the sake there were spiderwebs and the whole bathroom really needed it renovation we’re getting into bed. We sprayed down the sheets with Lysol and kept seeing black specs like that so we lifted the sheet and the bed pad has stains on. It is something that look like it could have been an old book or what have you but I don’t know. We took the issue to the front desk, but they said they didn’t have any other rooms to switch us to so we were stuck there and literally had to be back for some extra sheets just to layer the bed that next day we were gone all day but when we came back that evening, we asked again to switch our rule, but they said they were still full. We were only given one towel of peace, including the washcloth and every time we ask for extra set they said they didn’t have any if they were out the hotel really needs to upgrade and they need to spend more money or luxury sheets in towels, so that the Customer can have more than enough rather than holding onto one raggedy towel for the whole week. We stayed here three days, and oh my goodness we’re so ready to go I will never ever stay here again. Don’t recommend it. "

"There was NO HOT WATER FOR 3 DAYS. From the time we checked in and we were informed that the issue would be fixed by next day. The next day, after we spent the day at the beach, upon returning to the hotel, once again we found out that there was no hot water (and it was cold, 16 C). When we asked for a refund or to be transferred to another hotel, the staff told us that this couldn’t be done and it was my responsibility to check with Expedia what could be done. It took me hours to talk to Expedia and after escalating the situation to a supervisor, I received a $200 refund to spend the night in another hotel. I had to pay out of my pocket extra $130 to spend the night at another hotel. Next day, returning the Holiday Inn, once again there was no hot water! I had to spend hours talking to an Expedia agent to get a total refund for my stay, find myself another hotel for the remaining 5 days of my trip and pay for it out of my pocket! The refund I got from Holiday Inn was $1230.00 and I spent $1730,00 for another stay at Hampton Inn. To sum it up, I’m having a financial loss of $600,00 caused by the property that did not provide the service that I paid for in advance! "
