"I had an overnight stay during Essence Fest. The location is great, in the heart of the French Quarter, 1 block from Bourbon. Light sleepers should probably choose a different hotel. Check in was easy, hotel was well maintained. It is an older property, but still well kept. No frills, just a comfortable, good location, place to stay. Bonus......you get a discount at Mr. Ed's, it was delicious. "

It was evident that high standards for the hotel are maintained. We had breakfast in the restaurant where the service and the flavor and presentation of the food was top notch. It was absolutely worth the extra money we spent to stay here. "
