We really enjoyed staying at Maison St. Charles. It’s a great location, very walkable to both the Garden District and CBD neighborhoods. Even the French Quarter is not that far. Just 10 minutes from the WW2 Museum, which is highly recommended. The price is right for clean, comfy rooms. Helpful amenities like In-room fridge and microwave, complimentary coffee all day. We used the hot tub several times, and the breakfast was very good. I would recommend this hotel, and would stay here again.

Let me first start by saying, the staff was very nice (that’s why I gave it 2 stars). However, the tv didn’t work. It turned on but every channel said “unavailable”. I had to call.the front desk several times during our stay. They sent someone up (Friday1/23/26) who wasn’t able to fix it. I asked if we could move to another room. They said no, because none of the hotel televisions were working. I called the front desk twice on Saturday (1/24/26), because no one came to fix it, and our room hadn’t been cleaned. Finally, on Sunday (1/25/24), just before we left, maintenance came and fixed it. When we returned to watch the NFL playoffs, the tv worked but had no sound. We had to call twice before they sent someone up. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to fix it, it finally started working Monday (1/26/26) morning (1:06am), we checked out same day, around 11:00am.

The staff were very nice and the rooms were clean. The whole process was very easy and although we had an issue with our TV…the staff quickly handled the problem. It is a very unique and beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend.

Really nice hotel with great rooms and facilities. Lovely breakfast. Convenient and safe and close to the Charles Street Trams, which is why I booked. The only downside was something they couldn’t control, really: my neighbours played their TV full blast till 4 am so I got no sleep. Otherwise it is awesome and even has cats!

No bedding for the pull out bed. After asking the front desk, they could only find a sheet and nothing to cover with. It was a very chilly January night. Thetmast was not working. It said it was 93 degrees in the room, which it was not. The soap dispenser was empty. I wouldn't give it a very good clean rating. Floors, baseboards, and doors were visibly dirty. There was a large ball of hair on one of the towels. No hair dryer in the room.

It was a great place for our family. Very well located near the French Quarter. The restaurant attached to the hotel is delicious. The breakfast isn’t included, but looked good. It is not dirty, but it not super clean. Very charming with many residents cats on the property.

Second time staying here and really couldn’t ask for more for a great price. Clean, comfy rooms with fridge/microwave and all. We love the pool and hot tub. Free street parking right along the buildings. Such a unique area and a street car line is right in front, the hotel is made up of several historic buildings with a 24/7 security guard. Beautiful old trees, plentiful outdoor spaces. Restaurants and affordable food options next door. Cannot ask for more!

Cleanness was Ok but heatıng was very noisy. Also an incidental fee of 100 dollars was applied, but after 20 days it hasn't been refunded me yet.

The rooms A/C wasn’t working and we stayed in the heat waiting for staff to fix it. About 6/7 hours later I begged to change rooms, even if the room was smaller just so my family could get some relief. This place was cute, but definitely not worth the price I paid especially since my room was sooooo hot.

This is a unique property that has the potential to be outstanding if areas of concern are addressed. We stayed in a junior suite and found the layout and decor to be fitting for New Orleans. It provided an authentic NOLA experience. The location is just outside of the hustle and bustle of the downtown area but still close enough for walking or to catch the streetcar just outside the front of the property. However, the cleaniless and upkeep is sorely lacking. The shower area contained mold and mildew in the door tracks and crevices. The room overall had been tidied but not thoroughly cleaned. There was a great amount of dirt and debris (including a sizeable wad of human hair) at the baseboards and behind the headboard. There is a general lack of attention. The building allows for a considerable amount of external noise to be troublesome to guests. Those above us woke early (at 5:00 a.m.) and sounded like they were walking laps and rearranging furniture above our heads. It was quite loud and made sleeping impossible. When booking the room, I filtered to breakfast included. This property offers breakfast, but at a price point that is misaligned with its offerings. We viewed the breakfast area and found everything to be substandard (limited selection, rubbery looking eggs, general disorder, and priced at $15 per person). The staff was okay when approached but did not make any effort to engage with us or offer assitance. We were disappointed overall.
