"The property and the grounds were immaculate, our room was clean and spacious, and the dining and bar options were fantastic. The tennis court and two pickleball courts at the resort were in excellent condition, and Alex the tennis pro from Argentina was fabulous! The resort features on-site scuba diving instruction in the pool and dive trips that pick up directly from the property, and Arturo our dive master, our boat driver, and Gaby our underwater photographer were all great. Mario, our pool attendant, was terrific, and that really goes for the entire staff — so many friendly faces we came to know over our eight-day stay (we liked the resort so much that we extended our stay for an additional four nights). Our only disappointment was with all of the seawood along the beach. The resort, to its credit, had truly professional grade equipment that they used every day to address it, but it was a constant challenge (one we’re sure is faced by all of the other resorts in the area). Despite that, we absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this resort!"

"We had initially booked at Aldea Thai and when we got there they had changed the room from what we had booked and the place just honestly is a dump. They did provide a complete refund and we made our way to the Wyndham. Phew! What a refreshing choice! We will stay here any time we are in PDC from this point on. The price was fair and the resort and amenities were pristinely clean. Service was excellent and the staff who checked us in provided us a free upgrade for our troubles, which they had nothing to do with. High praise for this property and its staff! "

"The resort offers an exceptional experience, highlighted by its prime location, natural surroundings, and abundant wildlife, including monkeys that frequent guest balconies, as well as a beautiful lagoon and beach. However, I would like to bring to your attention an observation regarding the restaurant service team. Specifically, the server who was attending our table at the begining of our dtay(he was exemplery) was reassigned to the VIP section, resulting in a noticeable decline in service quality. It appears that some team members could benefit from further training in active listening, proactivity, and attentiveness. As repeat guests, we noted a discernible difference in service standards during this visit compared to our previous stays."

"Cielo Restaurant was really good"

"We stayed at Grand Sunset Princess Resort and overall had a great family experience. The property is very large, so expect a lot of walking, but the grounds are beautiful and spacious. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick to assist with any needs, including room issues and food allergies. Daily themed dining and nightly entertainment kept things fun. Food was decent overall—Mexican tacos and ceviche were the highlights. Some restaurants were closed, and the twin resort is still under construction. Reservations are required through the app or concierge. The beach had sargassum during our stay, and red flags were up. The water can be rocky near shore, so swim shoes are recommended. Sand quality isn’t ideal for building sandcastles. Pools were plentiful, though the kids’ splash features weren’t running. Rooms were clean, spacious, and beautiful, but had a noticeable damp smell that affected our clothes. Extras included shuttle service to Quinta Avenida (~$5), on-site photographers ($20/photo), and reasonably priced excursions. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, our family had a wonderful time and would consider coming back "

"There is no airport shuttle provided by the resort, however on their site they have a link to book with a trusted company. Pickup was smooth, took a little time waiting around but it was no issue! My husband and I booked a private shuttle for just us two. It was a smooth 30 min ride from the airport The staff were all helpful, beautiful, friendly people looking to help make our stay comfortable Our room was a 10/10. Very clean and beautiful modern style. We had a swim up room with was nice but not as I expected since they were renovating areas of the resort near the room. The tv was a nice size and comfortable enough for my husband and I to even put something on Netflix and relax and lay down. Wow, the wildlife on the resort was my favorite. Coati run this place. We even saw a monkey! I am a fan of Mexican food so I was disappointed to find there were more American cuisine options in the buffet than anything else. There was a nice variety of things in the buffet though. There are also other food spots around like a sports bar and a poolside fast food spot. Even an ice cream parlor. The dine in restaurants were a much nicer option once we made reservations. It’s all included which was nice. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from. The resort was big with lots of areas to lounge. The beach was nice too but the pools definitely dominate. When we were there they were doing renovations so keep that in mind. It didn’t affect our stay really. "

"We just got back from a 5 day stay at Secrets Impressions. This place is really impressive with all of the quality pools and flora for whatever setting you want. Music at the main pool & bar, quiet settings if you want that, a lagoon pool that makes you feel like you're in a secluded cove of the islands. Great food at all restaurants! We would go back and wish we booked for longer. Thx Secrets!"
