The in room jacuzzi didn't work so I paid extra but didn't get to enjoy it. Overall though my stay was enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it.

Food and staff were very good. The beach was pretty, but not great for swimming - a little rocky and a lot of seaweed that they did not clear. Enjoyed the stay. They did a Mexican carnival on Friday night that was a lot of fun. The adult pool was nice. Would not recommend MTS travel though for your to and from airport travel - the drivers were very nice but the customer service was not.

Pros: Staff are very nice and helpful, the nature feeling of the resort and animals is very cool. Beach is pretty but rocky Cons: Very busy resort, we got food poisoning and the gym is very old and lacks equipment. Mid level resort. Food was not good at the buffet but at the restaurants it was very good.

Everything was just beautiful. The check in was way too complicated. We waited way over an hour to check in. Check out did not need to be so confusing. The food, staff & amenities were top notch!!

The resort grounds are absolutely amazing! This property exceeded my expectations! Truly unique and stunning! The wildlife wandering around really enhances the beauty! We booked select club on the adult side and had upgraded to the penthouse suite. The room was clean, but we were missing many items upon check in, including extra towels, coffee and toilet paper. We were also unable to reserve any restaurant reservations for our entire stay using their app. We had been introduced to Samantha an Expedia concierge upon our check in, who had offer her phone number in case we needed. We received our check in survey from Expedia and indicated what we were lacking. Samantha reached out immediately and rectified most of our issues including booking reservations for every night for us. She is amazing and super helpful! The wildlife at this resort was phenomenal! We had monkeys on our balcony every day! One monkey actually tried to climb in my husbands lap, then stole his hat!

This hotel is one of the better ones I have stayed in, in Mexico. I booked with Expedia, which I have done many times before, I was warmly welcomed into this large hotel complex although there was a bit of a wait to check in. Once checked in the concierge team whisked me off to my room which was very clean and tidy robes and slippers ready to wear. The hotel has an app which is simple to use an d book reservations in one of the 5 restaurants or there is the main buffet restaurant all open till 9/10 at night and then a taco bar which serves food and drink all the way through the night as well. If you are considering this complex as a family resort you should it has a main pool area, water park and 2 quiet pool areas for adults only. All the team were lovely and would do anything for you, this is a little gem in the jungle well worth a visit

The restaurant had to have reservations, whe we arrived we were given the wrong brochure. The brochure that was given to us was for the location in Cancun. So we were unable to mar reservations for any of the good restaurants! We found out from other people who were staying there, that you had to make reservations after midnight and there were a few open reservations. But the 2 restaurants we wanted to eat at, were all booked up. So we NEVER got to eat at either one. So we basically ate at the same3 restaurants the whole time we were there. We stayed 7 days and was hoping to eat at all 7 restaurants, but that wasn’t the case. It was almost like people made their reservations before they even arrived! It was very over crowded , with lots of kids everywhere! Said it was an adults only resort! Ya that wasn’t true! There was 1 pool and a separate part on the beach that were adults only!! We didn’t want to see or hear any kids on our stay and that wasn’t the case either!! I wouldn’t ever stay at this resort or any of their other locations ever again!! This was the worst stay we have ever been to!!!

Our stay at Sandos Cancún was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We absolutely loved spending time on the beautiful beaches — they were clean, well maintained, and had plenty of relaxing spaces along with exciting water activities. Our first snorkeling experience was unforgettable and something we will cherish forever. One of the highlights of our stay was learning about the Mayan traditions through live performances and exploring the temples within the property. A special thank you to Francisca for introducing us to this beautiful culture and making the experience so meaningful. We also had an amazing time on the canoe tour with Maria, who made it incredibly romantic by offering wine and sharing her knowledge about the mangroves and the stunning blue waters. Another memorable moment was the cocktail experience at Cenote Crystal, arranged with the managers and directors. It was a unique and enjoyable experience, and we sincerely appreciated the effort put into making it special. The food options were excellent, with a great variety of restaurants. We loved trying everything, but our absolute favorites were the Japanese and Brazilian restaurants. The Mexican taco spot became our go-to place for snacks and drinks. Overall vacation was good. We love this particular resort for so many reasons! Grounds are beautiful and have so many hidden areas to explore! 98% of stuff was great!!! Food and drinks never disappoint. The beach is getting much much better after years of sea weed problem. They for sure can improve check in experience for their guests by not keeping people standing in line for a long time. One more time - great place for entire family to enjoy nature and services!
