A couple of things surprised me about this hotel: the lack of a microwave in the room, which I honestly didn’t notice when I booked the room as I’ve never not had one. I also saw a lot of dust along the baseboards in the bathroom and in the towel cubby. Like quite the build up of dust debris. Otherwise the hotel was beautiful and food was delicious.」

「Super cute place with lots of fun amenities! Super nice Nespresso machine in the common area for coffee in the morning. Lots of milk options and a very well equipped kitchen. Room was fabulous. Big windows, soft pillows, comfy bed. Bathroom was really big and shower was nice size.」

「The style of the decoration is excellent. And it is very close to the art museum. If you ride bikes, it takes you 5 minutes to get to the museum and the lakeside walk. 」

「Very friendly staff. Our room was very large compared to other rooms I have stayed in. The bathrooms were also large and very clean. The restaurant in the hotel and the rooftop bar were both really nice. Great ambiance and it is really close to the shops and restaurants in the Third Ward. We took a nice walk along the riverfront, went to the Public market, and saw a show a the Riverside Theater. Everything was very close to the hotel. We really enjoyed staying there!」

「Overall it was a pretty nice experience staying in Westin. The location is right in the center where you can go everywhere within walk distance. 」

「The room was clean, as was everything about the property. We had a 400 check in time and when we got there, at 500, on the dot, eveyone was friendly We were told the room wasn't ready yet. The person helping us said it would be just a couple minutes and to get our bags amd it would only be a couple minutes He said he was going up to help the person get the room read. About 15 after, he came down and said it was going to be a couple minutes and he was almost done. By 530, he said AGAIN,...

「Things have gone down hill. We used to love the iron horse and it was always a unique, cool place to stay but this last stay was not what we experienced in the past. First the staff no longer are in uniforms. One staff member was wondering around (not sure what he was even doing) in blue jeans and “staff” shirt, the night hostess was in a black iron horse tshirt and black biking shorts, the morning hostess was in a light pink tshirt and pink sweat pants, and bar staff all in jeans and iron...
