"Very relaxing "

"I did not expect luxury, but I definitely expected better than what we experienced. This hotel is old. It needs a desperate facelift. We literally had to throw our bodies into the door to open it. You could not open it normally. The worst experience was the water pressure. Keep in mind we are going to a waterpark and need to shower daily. The first shower I took was the worst I've ever had. The water barely trickled and it pooled into the tub which would not drain. It was miserable. I walked to the front desk to ask to have it looked into. It was clear it was a known issue. Later that day, I went to wash my hands in the sink, and there was NO WATER. I asked a member of the cleaning staff about it and she said they turned off the water to the hotel to work on it. There was no effort made to notify guests. The daily breakfast was the highlight. The eggs were fluffy and cooked perfectly. My son enjoyed the daily waffles. We looked forward to the breakfast. And the staff was kind and helpful. Also enjoyed the fruit-flavored water in the lobby. But the biggest perk was being able to enjoy the Atlantis amenities during our stay. I just wish the hotel had been in better condition. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and the room experience was far from romantic. We also tried to open the window and the sliding door was off the track and we couldn't figure out how to get it to work. We would not stay here again."

"The buffet was nice. Not impressed with the restaurants. Almost impossible to get a reservation. You can only book for two days in advance and when we could find an availability, it was for 8-8:30. Needed a room change because our bathroom door fell off the rails. And none of the electrical outlets in the bathroom worked. That being said, we still had a wonderful time. Drinks were great. Beach beautiful Friendly staff. "

"During my recent stay at the hotel, I found the rooms clean and well-maintained. However, I encountered some issues: - Pillows: Extremely flat and lacking support, making for an uncomfortable sleep. - Breakfast: Although I paid extra, the pancakes were hard and cold, and the oatmeal was watery. The restaurant staff, however, was efficient and pleasant. - Forgotten Items: I left my black hoody with white "Calvin Klein" lettering on the left-side arm in the closet but did not receive a call from the hotel. I believe hotels should make an effort to contact guests about forgotten valuables, especially if they make an effort to reach out for payments or promotions. How wonderful if someone would’ve reached out to me. This review would’ve been more favorable. Overall, I wouldn't mind returning due to cleanliness and staff. I hope they improve their breakfast and pillow quality and enhance communication regarding forgotten items. Thank you."
