"Sunscape is a beautiful hotel with an outstanding staff The food was good, especially the breakfast buffet at Ventanas and the Italian themed restaurant. The day and night entertainment was really fun, far better than we expected. I would say the only suggestion would be to improve the activities for tween kids. My 10 and 12 year old boys were too young for the teen club, but way too old for the kids club. They fell into a bit of a gap. They had a great time finding and playing with kids at the pool and beach."

"Everything is lovely and I will certainly go back. It just might not be as high-end as some, and there was very limited bathrooms so if you are older and have trouble walking, this is not the place for you."

"Staff was excellent. Food was great for a resort , plenty of options to pick from. Very clean. Only things we noticed that were more on the negative side was the drinks were pretty watered down and the rooms are quite dated. But overall for the price we paid we definitely recommend this resort . 8.5/10"

"The food was okay. Had its moments of good food and drinks. The entertainment was loud til almost 11pm. Wasn't a fan of that. The view was beautiful and the staff were nice."

"I had the time of my life! I travelled alone and requested a beautuful ocean view as it was my birthday. I was STUNNED at the gorgeous 9th floor view of the ocean, nearby RIU hotel and the pool paty area underneath. I had room 918. The bar pool was lively, Pepe's food was excellent there as well (tacos, burgers, hotdogs, fries). The beach water was crystal clear on the Saturday and by Sunday there was some seaweed, but nothing to trouble you. I was totally at peace. The themed parties were real vybes with fantastic music, great drinks, foam and fun overall. All servers at the buffet, pool bar, other bar near the pool and sports bar were super friendly and helpful. I only went to one live show at Calypso and it was a mix of 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s musical lip sync performances. It was so much fun and i was singing along. The Asian restaurant Shangri La was decent, while the buffet had fabulous food everyday. The steak at the steakhouse however, was average at best. I still can't get over the amazing views and beauty of the resort. A HUGE thank you to everyone who made my stay amazing. "This property is nicely situated with plenty of seating and pool area. It is more of a timeshare property therefore Marriott members do not get their typical perks like free breakfast. Currently, they have a significant seaweed issue washing up onto the beach. A disappointment for me was the pricing of their marketplace goods. An example would be that a medium size water would cost almost $10 Canadian at the market. Be prepared for that and take your own water as they only give you two per day under normal conditions in your room. We did ask for more and received more without any question. The Restaurant see and Stone is very good but priced as fine dining but I will repeat that the food is exceptional. Overall, I rated this property as a three because of some of the challenges that we had there. Finally, they did do a very nice thing for us and had some fruit and nuts delivered to our room for our anniversary, which I do think was likely a direct result of some of the challenge that we had I’ll be it still a very nice gesture"
