「This is a basic hotel. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the staff is nice. The pool is small with only four lounge chairs. You will need to walk to get to the beach - this hotel has a dock only. 」

「Fantastic stay at the lotus beach hotel. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was delicious! Snorkeling right is the beach coast was a nice bonus. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants!! 」

「My second stay here and I will absolutely be back. One guy at the front desk was pretty rude our entire stay but I am still going with 5 stars because everything else was absolutely amazing.」

「While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again.」

「Excellent clean hotel. It’s right in the middle of main restaurant area and near Playa Centro & Playa Norte. Also near La Trigueña & centro area. They clean rooms daily, unless you say otherwise. They have water cooler on each floor & friendly front desk clerk majority of the day along with night guard late at night/early morning. Air conditioning & fan are on point. Fridge included with is definitely a plus. I will definitely be returning and 100% recommend this hotel.」

「Beautiful room with everything you need (fridge, coffee maker, soaps, TV with Netflix log in). WiFi was good. There were both a ceiling fan and AC. They offer beach towels, but don't have very many, so make sure you ask early or bring your own. All in all the room was very comfortable. Location is good, 10 mins walk to the North beach and 3 min walk from the main street. 3 mins to the ferry terminal. The staff was polite enough, but not very friendly. We felt like we were an annoyance to them,...

「The shower was awful with water spraying out everywhere but little pressure. Couldn’t even get my hair wet. Toilet wouldn’t flush. I called and they did come and fix the shower and toilet. Ants in the kitchen area. Told them abs I was told it was from rain. WiFi was out for 2 days was told from weather although all the other places we went had wifi. Never came to clean the room. I requested towels and garbage removal. They brought towels but never took garbage. Was told when we got there they...

「Clean, amazing location, great service and hospitality」

「Hidden gym. Very clean, well maintained hotel. Desk staff was helpful.and friendly. We had a room facing the back of the hotel so no problem with noise. Room had strong WiFi and air conditioning. The shower had cool water but no hot water. Bed mattess was firm but not uncomfortable. 」

「Staff at the property were lovely! You sort of get what you pay for, it’s nice they’ve made the effort to modernise the property but you can tell it’s still a little worn. But as mentioned you get what you pay for. One down side was the water ran really low on our last night, only to wake up the following morning with the toilet not flushing and no water coming out of any taps. I had to use a water bottle to get water out of the pool so the toilet would flush. 」

Sheets were filthy Bathroom was covered in mold Walls were paper thin and one could hear everything going on in other rooms and I am not a light sleeper. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular-but this did not even meet basic 1star experience. 」
