"We just took a last minute weekend trip to Cancún, it was our first time there too and picked Live Aqua after reading many reviews and it surpassed the expectations. The Hotel is beautiful and the beach views breathtaking, but what got my attention was the people. The staff was attentive, respectful, available and friendly. Ricky Ricardo won our hearts with his vibrant style and talent. Aqua aerobics and bingo at the main pool were fun and interactive. The pools are beautiful and very peaceful, dinning was nice, however when compared with other 5 star resorts from D.R. they could do better. That doesn’t mean that their were bad; Verona was exquisite. The buffet dinning option could be better. The staff made everything so comfortable. From Claudia at the gift shop, Christopher Robin during Karaoke nights, trivia games and live music we have lots of fun. What I loved the most was not having the loud crowd around. More selected population made it so peaceful and stress free. We will definitely go back. We didn’t have enough time to enjoy it more. They even brought us plates from Hidden Gardens Restaurant when we couldn’t make it on time and ended up at the buffet. Angeles, Chef Mario, Carlos during breakfast and Usiel ourserver at the pool side were all very kind and made our stay delightful."
