"Before booking, I didn’t fully understand the concept of this hotel. I read many good reviews and the photos looked beautiful, so I was surprised to find that this is not just an adults-only resort. It has a topless-optional, highly sexual atmosphere, revealing outfits, and men in thongs.
Check-in is at 3 PM. We arrived early and were told they would try to have our room ready around 2. We asked several times and were told it wasn’t ready. After I said I would mention this in my review, we were suddenly checked in at 2:45.
We were also promised a “VIP breakfast,” but before it we spent 1.5 hours in a Premier membership sales presentation. Three different employees tried to sell us the package even after we declined. We lost valuable vacation time. There are many salespeople throughout the resort pushing memberships and extras.
The “VIP dinner” was also presented as a benefit, but later we learned that the VIP table and extras cost additional money.
Most entertainment happens around the pool. The beach was disappointing, with lots of seaweed in the water and along the shore, and we didn’t see it being regularly cleaned. We barely swam in the ocean.
Food was okay. Most guests we saw were 50+. If you are specifically looking for this concept, you may enjoy it."
