"Resort was beautiful. Breathtaking views and the weather was perfect. As far as our stay, I was heavily disappointed in our check in process, as we were supposed to have VIP check in, but there was a severe shortage in staffing and lack of communication, which caused us to wait over two hours in a lobby all the while we were being told we were about to be checked in. This just wasn’t a VIP experience. We were supposed to get a bottle of champagne &200$ report credit, which no one went over with us. The day before leaving,we finally got clarity from a knowledgeable person only to find the resort credit could only be applied to certain things, which was too late to take advantage of at this point in our stay. after checking in, we’re approached by a staff who convinced us to sign up for an off site massage the next day. We initially declined but after much pressure, we decided to give it a try and go the next day. During the first evening, we got sunburnt and both decided it would be in our best interest to skip the massage as it wouldn’t be enjoyable. The next morning, we woke up early to inform the staff that we weren’t going to be able to do the massage. We also had been misguided &wasn’t under the impression that we would have to sit through a long presentation. We thought this to be unprofessional as this wasn’t communicated, so we declined. Later, we were harassed about how we cancelled and it made him look bad. We had to dodge him every time we left our room.."
