「Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart...

「Loved riding over on the boat! Beautiful resort and great rooms. Service was wonderful in restaurants, honestly wasn’t impressed with gal in coffee shop. She seemed put out when getting your coffee and nobody was ever in there. Very very quiet… no beach walking unfortunately. Food was outstanding in my opinion.」

「This was our first time to stay at Maria’s Kan Kin. If you’re looking for a peaceful place on the island with serene views, private beach access, a delicious breakfast included and such a friendly, helpful staff this place is amazing! Lily greeted us at check-in and made us feel so welcome. Max waited on us at Loretta‘s for multiple meals. He offered suggestions and attentive service. The beach was clean and offered kayaks and a great place to snorkel. You need to take a taxi from the ferry and...

「The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our room was a good size, clean and we had a great view. The bar was convenient. The food was always excellent. It would have been nice to have a station maybe in the lobby with coffee and pastries to grab and go. Our stay there was great!」

「This is a basic hotel. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the staff is nice. The pool is small with only four lounge chairs. You will need to walk to get to the beach - this hotel has a dock only. 」

「While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again.」

「The AC situation was horrible. It was so hot at night had do go to the grocery store and buy a fan. Other than that it was pretty good. The food wasn’t great, most of it was very bland. The drinks however were excellent and the staff was as helpful as one would expect. The room was very clean no complaints except the AC. I’ve stayed at 5 different hotels on Isla Mujeres and this the first one that was really hot at night. I would stay again but not for an extended amount of time “over 5 days”....
