"To start, I really did enjoy my time at Tidewater and even with this criticism, I would stay there again. All of these rental vacation condos have a cleaning/resort fee attached, but if I'm paying an extra $300, I don't think it's appropriate to make guests clean before leaving. You are expected to wash all dishes and return them to the cupboards, as well as take out all trash or an additional cleaning fee will be charged. I agree with expecting us to wash them, otherwise people would leave...

"The gentleman who checed me in was nice and extremely informative. The woman who checked me out, not nice at all. I let her know that the cleaning lady had to let me out because the lock was jammed, she said oh well. I felt trapped."

Great get away

"Great hotel especially for the price. It's not a frilly place but the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the service was friendly. The pool and private beach area were beautiful. Watching the sunset from the pool cabana was so peaceful. It's a great location and walking distance to pretty much everything. We would definitely stay again. Good place for families or friends. "
