「Staff great. Room was nice (though I would have liked a dresser, even if it was small. Not crazy about living out of my luggage, especailly given the bathroom was so large. I realize old buildings have restrictions). Perfect locaton, great check in experience. I would hightly recommed the hotel. 」

「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」

The room could’ve been cleaned a little better — there were a few small things that made it feel like housekeeping may have rushed through (hairs, dirty dishes, dusty floors) but it wasn’t anything that completely ruined the experience. 「Great for being in the middle of everything in the city. Everything was walking distance. The hotel is old so not much was expected as far as amenities, and it had an old house smell to it. Staff was awesome and they did very well with cleaning rooms daily. Really can’t beat it as far as location and price if you really don’t care about it not being “resort style.” Overall nice place. 」

「The hostel was awesome! We had our own room with bathroom and it was clean and comfortable. We even had our own shower, which I didn’t expect! So loved the breakfast selection and everyone there was so kind and friendly. If back in NOLA, I would definitely stay here again!!!」
