「Good but sheets smelled old 」

「Amazing staff, great room amenities. My only suggestion would be a tv in the Coal Car room, that the guest could connect to and watch whatever interested them.」

「 My room was not cleaned properly. As soon as I arrived and went to use the bathroom, I found dried urine on the toilet seat. I didn’t report it to the front desk — I just went out, bought cleaning supplies, and cleaned the room myself. This is unacceptable for any hotel. I will not be staying here again. If you choose to stay, be prepared to clean the room on your own. The housekeeping staff appears to be doing the bare minimum and collecting a paycheck for work that is not being done. 」

The room could’ve been cleaned a little better — there were a few small things that made it feel like housekeeping may have rushed through (hairs, dirty dishes, dusty floors) but it wasn’t anything that completely ruined the experience. 「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」

「We had an outstanding stay at the Chateau Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—just steps from everything in the French Quarter while still feeling quiet and tucked away when you return for the night. 「The rooms were lutron equipped for lighting, drapes, etc. Forrest it was a little too ersatz. We typically stay at the Roosevelt, which is older and more refined. The restaurant in the hotel has views of the Mississippi river and outstanding food a fair amount of gluten-free options for brunch.」
