「Clean rooms and impecable room service. Property itself was small and easy to navigate. Gift shop stayed open until 11pm which came in handy!
Breakfast was great at both restaurants and the afternoon taqueria being open was fabulous!
The beach was why we stayed here. Romantic and calm atmosphere. We loved our time」

「We stayed 10 nights at Mahekal. It’s definitely different from our usual pick - the Royal Hidaway- but we wanted a change. It’s a 4 or 3.5 star resort that needs a bit of a TLC, but it didn’t bother us. The noise didn’t bother us either, very reasonable. Mosquitos are relentless, very grateful for the Off provided in each room. Staff are very friendly and polite.
The welcome at the reception needs improvement. Important to give folks the room that was advertised and paid for. After travelling...

「My wife and I travel as a hobby... and we travel in luxury. The Rosewood Mayakoba is the most luxurious experience we have had. The spa is perhaps the best on earth, the interior mangroves and boat rides to restaurants is such a cool experience. The rooms are literally on top of the water, private pools, AMAZING service... truly an experience that I hated to end!」
