「I was not impressed by this property for a few reasons: cleanliness wasn't great, the bedding was rough to the touch and frayed on the side, we only had 3 bath towels for 4 people in the room, and the air conditioning was not adequate for the hot weather. We could not adjust the temperature lower.」

「This is such a cute inn with all the amenities that are needed. It is wonderful to be able to just check yourself in without waiting in line. The space was clean, and tastefully decorated. The town, adorable. Parking isn't ideal for a large truck (we're driving through so, vehicle option wasn't negotiable for us) but we made it work! 5 stars, we can't wait to come back!」

「We booked a two day stay at the Hampton Inn in beautiful Kittery, ME. We chose the Hampton Inn because of its name and reputation as a fine chain. We discovered that it was pet- friendly, which is fine, but also discovered that pets are not limited to certain floors ( i.e. ground floor or first floor only) but are allowed throughout the entire facility. To be blunt, our room smelled of wet dog. Not at first, but through the night, our half-carpeted, upholstered furniture room 409 became very...

「Great place, close to everything and rooms were great. Would stay again」

「We travel a lot for business and stay in hotels throughout the state of Maine and this hotel was by far one of the worst we have stayed at. The hotel staff was beyond unhelpful. We got into town an hour early and asked if we could check in early - they said they would charge us an additional $50 for early check in. I have never had a hotel do that. There amenities were lacking - no microwave in the room, the only tea they offered was plain lipton. Everything was the cheapest they could get away...

「Bar staff not the most attentive. Ordered sandwiches after a long ride and 20 minutes later when I went to pick them up, the order was never given to the cook. Bar staff was not going to say anything until I saw her entering in the order and called her out on it」
