"This hotel was recommended by family because it was clean and safe. They were right! Not only was everything perfect, but they also had a combination of firm and fluffy pillows on the bed. First time ive ever had this in a hotel. I will stay here again when i visit family. The only thing i would recommend, the anti slip treads in the shower need updating but there was a grab bar. This is my suggestion for almost every hotel but not a deal breaker."

"Ended up with hotel in Parkersburg, West Virginia after all hotels in Athens, Ohio were booked due to over 5000 students graduating from University of Ohio so friends and family of those students had booked all the rooms. My family members were staying in Ohio but was able to bring my Mother back to Holiday Inn and the difference between this luxurious hotel compared to where she was staying was night and day. "

"Great hotel! Communal area has a fridge stocked with water and juice, there’s coffee, cereal, snacks etc which was great to have! The restaurant is convenient and the food is really good. The only downside is that If you’re spending any extended time in the room (I did because it was raining all day) there is limited tv and no WiFi that I could find. Staff was super friendly and helpful. If you have limited mobility - there are a lot of stairs and they’re steep! "
